President
Mark has over thirty years’ experience in both the aero and industrial gas turbine industry, with progressively increasing responsibilities for both the manufacture and repair of components. Prior to joining Orbital Mark has held various senior management roles most recently at Technetics Group Oxford as Vice President of Operations. Mark has a record for improving operational and financial performance during his time working at significant companies within the industry; Turbocare (a SIEMENS company), HEICO, Wood Group, ATI (a GE/Teleflex JV) and starting his career at Chromalloy. Along with his hands-on approach to management Mark has earned qualifications in Management from Nottingham Trent University and Engineering from Peoples College Nottingham, both in the UK.
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Roy is a seasoned Executive CFO with over 27 years of experience in both the Public and Private sectors. After working with the CPA firm, Lovelace, Roby and Company for several years in the early 1980’s, Roy became the Chairman/CEO of Watson Tile Distributors Group. He developed and expanded this group of companies into an internationally recognized southeast regional tile and stone manufacturing and distribution group. Roy negotiated and sold Watson Tile in 2002 at which time he began working with Private Equity groups as President/CFO for domestic, international and offshore portfolio companies in IPO, growth, acquisition and turnaround situations. These industries included maritime logistics, several line and job shop manufacturing companies and nutraceutical manufacturing and distribution groups. Roy joined Orbital Tool Technologies in 2013 and was involved with the Century Turbine Repair acquisition in November of 2013. Roy graduated from Stetson University with a BBA degree and a major in Accounting.
Executive Vice President Business Development
Don’s 30 years’ experience began with 14 years in increasing engineering responsibility in the aerospace industry with Lockheed and Boeing. Transitioning to business development in 1998, Don’s sales and marketing experience includes Fortune 500 companies Crane and Corning. Joining Wood Group in 2008, Don most recently led the Americas Sales team for the Power Plant Services division. Responsible for all business development activities related to rotating equipment major maintenance in the western hemisphere, he led Americas growth to a $100MM business in 2013. Don joined Orbital Energy Services in early 2014, responsible for all business development activities. He has a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Illinois, and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University.
